Team Travels is me, Lydia, my husband Mike and our little one, Addy! Mike and I met in Washington, D.C. in 2013 and have made a point to treat ourselves to travel as much as we’re able given our current job situations. In October 2018 we added a new member to Team Travels and that’s our beautiful daughter, Addy. She’s Team Travels Baby! And we are Team Travels, Baby! See what I did there. 😉
Prior to COVID, we planned at least two to three big trips per year and made the most of cheap flight deals and drivable weekend getaways. With COVID and since, we’ve looked for opportunities to explore the U.S. and stay in new places longer. We are frugal and are truly people who live by the notion of collecting only memories and photos from our trips. To date, Vancouver, Alaska and Switzerland have been top destinations for us. We love to explore National Parks, bike around cities, see animals in nature and visit zoos and I love to find local spots to try their coffee or sweet treats! When I find a spare moment (which isn’t often these days), I love making photo books, writing blog articles and now children’s books between trips. I also used photos from our trips to decorate our condo. Surrounding ourselves with pictures allows us to relish in the moments we’ve enjoyed and reminds us to look for and plan our next ones!
